Information for Sponsors / Presenters

RDT works closely with each sponsor to design a concert and residency that will suit the needs of each community. RDT tours with 8-10 company members and Stage Manager.

Note: Fees will vary depending on number of company members involved, residency activities, geographic area, lodging and touring expenses.

Technical Requirements, Stage and Technical Crew

RDT is a flexible dance company that can adapt its programs to suit the performance venue.

RDT likes to perform in a theater space with a performance area (from the onstage side of the masking) of at least 35’ W x 30’ D. The floor should be smooth wood laid over wood sleepers (sprung) with some "give." Concrete or cement floors are not acceptable.

The stage should have a good quality working sound system. Ideally, the space should also have four wings (legs), enough borders to mask, a black scrim, a cyc or white scrim or a full black traveler.

RDT also requires a floor covering to be supplied by the sponsor (unless otherwise negotiated with RDT). This floor covering must be black Marley or equivalent and should be of sufficient size to cover the entire dancing space.

RDT also requires a technical assistance crew consisting of people able to lift and work assisting with load in, coloring and focus, performance and load out.
