Repertory Dance Theatre (RDT) is an internationally renowned modern dance company that focuses attention on the environment, social issues,  history, sustainability and community. Bird watching

PLACE: Dancing The Green Map was inspired by Green Map icons©, beautifully designed symbols representing our life, our history, and our economy that help people identify and become more aware of the importance of sustainability…. living, eating, working and playing in ways that will not jeopardize the health of the planet or the quality of life for all cultures, species or generations to come.

These poetic “movement essays” are meant to raise consciousness and concern about the health of our communities and the earth. The icons help us see our communities from a fresh perspective in order to celebrate environmental progress, inspire environmental stewardship and develop a greater understanding of “place.”

RDT has invited friends from the community to participate in lobby displays and share their icon relatedactivities and visions for a healthier community. Come early and “map” your neighborhood.
